DiolazeXL is a true diode laser, the medical-grade upgrade from the IPL devices most spas use for hair removal. It targets melanin in the hair follicle with one focused wavelength, fast and consistently, with built-in contact cooling so the experience stays comfortable across every zone.

Carolyn founded Royal Lashes Studio in Guelph in 2014 and grew it into Royal Medical Spa. She's our resident specialist for laser hair removal and Forma RF, trained on InMode's platforms, with thousands of sessions across every skin type.

Carolyn will assess your skin when you arrive to confirm settings before treatment begins.
Most clients describe it as a quick warm snap, like a rubber band. DiolazeXL has built-in sapphire contact cooling that takes the edge off most areas. Bikini and underarm are the most sensitive zones; lip, chin, and arms are the easiest. We don't typically use numbing for laser hair removal because the cooling handles it.
Most clients need 6 to 8 sessions spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart for permanent reduction, with annual touch-ups after that. Hair density and the area drive the count. Your first intro session is your starting point, and you'll see noticeable shedding within two weeks.
Shave the day before or morning of. The laser targets the follicle below the surface, so visible hair on the skin actually absorbs energy and reduces effectiveness. Don't wax or pluck for 4 weeks before, that removes the follicle the laser needs to find. Just shave.
