Morpheus8 vs Forma:
which one is for you?

Both tighten skin. Both come from InMode's radiofrequency platform. But they suit different faces, budgets, and calendars — here's the honest comparison we walk clients through at consults.

The short answer: Morpheus8 remodels — needles deliver RF energy deep into the skin for laxity, texture, and etched-in lines, over 3 sessions with 2–3 days of redness. Forma maintains and prevents — no needles, no downtime, gradual firming over 8 weekly sessions. Deeper change: Morpheus8. Gentler routine: Forma.

What each one actually is.

Morpheus8 is fractional radiofrequency microneedling. Fine needles carry RF energy beneath the surface, where collagen is actually made, triggering deep remodeling. It's our go-to for jawline and jowl laxity, acne scarring, crepey texture, and lines that have started to etch in.

Forma uses the same radiofrequency energy but delivers it from the surface — a warm, massage-like wand, no needles at all. Think of it as strength training for your collagen: each weekly session builds on the last, firming gradually with zero recovery time.

How we'd choose.

  • Pick Morpheus8 if you can point at the problem — jowls, softened jawline, acne scars, crepey skin — and want the most change per course. Plan around 2–3 days of visible redness per session.
  • Pick Forma if you're earlier in the laxity curve, want to stay ahead of it, or simply won't do needles. It's also what many clients use to maintain their Morpheus8 results between courses.
  • They also work in sequence — a Morpheus8 course for the remodeling, then Forma for maintenance. That's a conversation for your consult, not a package we push.

Both are performed at Royal Medical Spa in Guelph on InMode's platform — we're InMode certified, and every plan is confirmed at a consultation first (virtual consults are complimentary).

Quick questions.

Yes — they're complementary rather than competing. A common pattern is a Morpheus8 course for deeper remodeling, then Forma sessions afterward as maintenance. Your consult will map what fits your skin and budget; we'll tell you if one alone is enough.
For established jowl or jawline laxity, Morpheus8 — the RF energy is delivered deep, where remodeling happens. Forma suits earlier, milder laxity and upkeep. Candidacy is confirmed at your consultation.
Yes. Forma uses no needles — the treatment feels like a warm massage, takes about 30 minutes, and you can return to normal life immediately, makeup included.
